Provider Agreement
This agreement applies to independent providers listing or performing services through Repair Tech Network (“RTN”). Separate written terms may apply to RTN employees, RTN-managed technicians, or OEM/white-label programs.
Independent Business
Unless a separate written employment or managed-service agreement says otherwise, a provider is an independent business and not an employee, agent, franchisee or partner of RTN. The provider controls how lawful work is performed and is responsible for taxes, permits, licensing, insurance, tools, transportation and personnel.
Accurate Profiles and Qualifications
Providers must keep identity, contact, service-area, equipment, pricing, availability, credentials and experience information accurate. Providers may claim OEM authorization, RTN verification, certification, insurance or background-check status only when RTN has approved the corresponding badge or claim.
Safety and Work Standards
Providers must follow applicable law, manufacturer procedures, electrical and laser safety practices, lockout/tagout requirements, site rules and accepted trade practices. Providers must decline or stop work beyond their competence or under unsafe conditions and document the reason.
Scope, Estimates and Changes
Before work, providers must clearly state scope, price or rate, travel, parts, expected limitations, cancellation terms and warranties. Material changes require customer authorization through the platform when practical. Providers must maintain useful service notes, time, parts and outcome records.
Bookings, Communications and Conduct
Providers must communicate professionally, protect customer property and confidential information, meet accepted appointments or notify the customer promptly, and use platform messaging and booking records for covered transactions. Discrimination, harassment, unsafe conduct, fraud, review manipulation and deceptive claims are prohibited.
Fees, Payments and Payouts
Providers authorize RTN and its payment partners to collect customer funds, deduct disclosed commissions, fees, refunds, chargebacks, taxes or adjustments, and remit eligible payouts under the posted schedule. RTN may hold funds while investigating disputes, fraud, safety concerns or policy violations.
Disputes and Cooperation
Providers must respond promptly to disputes and supply messages, photos, estimates, invoices, test results and other relevant records. RTN may facilitate a resolution and take account or payout action under platform policies. This does not make RTN the technical service provider for independent jobs.
Customer Data and Confidentiality
Providers may use customer and platform information only to quote, schedule, perform, document and support the requested work or meet lawful obligations. Providers may not sell, scrape, disclose or misuse platform data.
Platform Integrity
Providers may not manipulate rankings, create false accounts or reviews, evade earned platform fees, or move a platform-introduced transaction off-platform to avoid RTN protections or charges.
Reviews, Verification and Badges
RTN may publish authentic customer feedback and may verify submitted facts or credentials. Verification and certification reflect defined checks or assessments at a point in time; they are not guarantees of every future service outcome. RTN may suspend or remove badges when requirements lapse or information becomes inaccurate.
Suspension and Removal
RTN may restrict listings, withhold payouts as permitted, or suspend or remove a provider for safety risks, fraud, repeated service failures, expired credentials, unlawful conduct, non-cooperation or policy violations. Providers remain responsible for existing customer and financial obligations.
Responsibility for Services
Independent providers are responsible for their estimates, advice, workmanship, personnel, parts, warranties, property damage, injury and legal compliance. Any indemnity, limitation or allocation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and should be finalized with legal counsel.
