Marketplace badges should communicate specific facts, not vague promises. RTN uses separate designations so customers can understand what has—and has not—been checked.
RTN Verified
Verification means RTN has reviewed defined identity, business, experience, credential, insurance, or background information for that profile. The exact checks may vary by role and are displayed or documented by the platform. Verification is a point-in-time status and may expire.
RTN Certified
Certification means a provider has completed an RTN-defined assessment, course, practical evaluation, or combination of requirements for a stated technical scope. Certification should identify the discipline, level, and current status rather than imply universal expertise.
OEM Authorized
OEM authorization is distinct. It means the provider has supplied evidence of a current relationship or authorization from the named manufacturer, subject to RTN review.
Badges are not guarantees
No badge can guarantee every future service result. Customers should still review scope, experience, ratings, price, availability, insurance, and the requirements of their site. RTN may suspend or remove a badge when information becomes outdated, inaccurate, or inconsistent with platform standards.
