Getting Started as an RTN Vendor

Repair Tech Network connects equipment owners with independent technical-service vendors. Customers can search services and post requests without buying a vendor membership.

RTN terminology: A vendor is a person or business offering technical services. A vendor profile describes the business. A service listing describes one specific service.

1. Create your account

Open Account or select List a Service. Use an email address you monitor because account, order, booking, and customer notifications may be sent there.

2. Complete the basic profile

Add your name or business name, profile image, location, website, relevant links, and an accurate description. Profile setup no longer contains service-booking hours. Booking availability belongs to each individual service listing.

3. Choose a vendor membership

Review the current Vendor Membership Plans. The Plans page is the source of truth for current prices, listing limits, and included features. Customers do not need a vendor plan.

4. Publish focused services

Open List a Service. Select the correct technical-service category, then describe one clear service with its scope, delivery method, price basis, duration, prerequisites, exclusions, warranty, travel policy, parts policy, and cancellation terms.

5. Configure booking availability on the service

Edit each bookable service listing to set its own lead time, booking window, available days and hours, time zone, slot length, calendar synchronization, and manual-acceptance preference. This lets remote, in-shop, and on-site services use different schedules.

6. Test the public experience

Sign out or use a private browser window to review your vendor profile and each listing as a customer. Confirm the category, images, location, pricing, booking controls, terms, and links before promoting the service.

7. Operate through RTN

Respond promptly, keep scope changes in platform messages, protect customer information, document delivery, and follow the RTN Vendor Standards.
