How Booking and Payment Work

Customers can search RTN and purchase a published technical service without buying a vendor membership. A free customer account may be created during the booking or checkout workflow when required.

Booking a scheduled service

  1. Open a service from Service Listings.
  2. Review its scope, delivery method, price, duration, location, availability, warranty, exclusions, travel terms, and parts policy.
  3. Select an available date and time when the service includes a booking calendar.
  4. Add useful notes about the equipment, symptoms, deadlines, and access requirements.
  5. Accept the applicable terms and proceed to checkout.
  6. Complete payment through the available checkout method.

Where availability comes from

Each vendor controls availability on the individual service listing. Remote, in-shop, and on-site services may therefore show different days, hours, lead times, booking windows, and time zones.

After checkout

The order and booking records keep the service, selected time, payment status, requirements, attachments, and messages connected. Watch your account and email for vendor questions or acceptance when manual confirmation is required.

Remote sessions

RTN does not require one meeting or remote-access provider. The vendor should explain how the session link or connection instructions will be delivered. Never send passwords or unattended-access credentials in a public listing or request.

Changes and additional work

Use platform messages to document rescheduling, changed scope, travel, parts, shipping, consumables, or work outside the published service. Do not assume the displayed service price includes items that the listing excludes.

Completion, refunds, and disputes

Orders use manual delivery and completion controls. If something goes wrong, first communicate with the vendor through the order. Review the Refund, Cancellation, and Dispute Policy for the applicable process and deadlines.
