How to Post a Useful Service Request

A clear request helps qualified vendors understand the job and respond with realistic questions, timing, and pricing.

Service request documentation
Better intake produces better responses.

Quick note: Photos, exact error text, and recent history are more useful than a long guess about the cause.

Identify the equipment

Include the manufacturer, model, controller or software, approximate age, location, and whether the machine is under warranty.

Describe what changed

Explain the expected behavior, the actual behavior, error messages, recent repairs or upgrades, and whether the failure is constant or intermittent.

Add useful evidence

Use the request form to attach clear photos, short videos, test results, and relevant files after removing passwords, customer data, or confidential designs.

Set the service requirements

Select remote, on-site, in-shop, or hybrid service; note urgency and access restrictions; and state the outcome you need without prescribing an unsafe repair.
