Responding to Requests, Quotes, and Bookings
RTN supports three related workflows: customer requests, vendor offers or quotes, and direct service bookings.
Customer requests
Equipment owners can post a request describing a problem or service need. Review the equipment type, symptoms, location, preferred delivery method, timing, urgency, attachments, and stated budget before responding.
Offers and quotes
Respond only when the work fits your capabilities and service area. State the proposed scope, assumptions, exclusions, estimated timing, pricing basis, travel or parts costs, and the next step. Keep material scope changes in platform messages.
Direct service bookings
Customers may book a published service directly when that listing has booking enabled. The listing controls its own lead time, booking window, available days and hours, time zone, slot duration, calendar synchronization, and manual-acceptance preference.
Edit booking availability
- Open Account.
- Open your listings.
- Select the bookable service and choose Edit.
- Update the booking schedule and service-specific booking settings.
- Save the listing and check it as a signed-out customer.
Changing your basic vendor profile does not change booking availability. Update every affected service listing separately.
Before accepting work
Confirm that the customer has provided enough information, that the schedule is realistic, and that any travel, parts, shipping, safety, or access requirements are understood.
