Understanding Vendor Membership Plans

Vendor memberships support the service marketplace and control the number of active service listings a vendor can publish. Customers looking for help do not need to purchase a vendor plan.

What a membership applies to

A membership belongs to the vendor account that purchased it. It does not certify technical ability, guarantee leads, rank every listing first, or replace service-specific platform fees. The plan primarily controls marketplace access and the available listing allowance.

Free or entry plan

The entry option is intended for a vendor testing the platform with a small number of focused services. Publish the strongest offers first rather than combining unrelated work into one confusing listing.

Paid plans

Higher plans provide proportionally more listing capacity and may include additional visibility or marketplace features shown on the current plan card. Choose based on the number of genuinely distinct services you can maintain, not the maximum number of listings you could create.

Listings versus capabilities

Your vendor profile can describe broad equipment expertise. Individual listings should remain clear purchasable offers. For example, one vendor might publish remote diagnostics, on-site repair, preventive maintenance, and training as separate listings while the profile explains all supported machine families.

Subscriptions and renewals

When a plan is sold as a subscription, the commerce system manages recurring billing and renewal status. Keep the payment method and account email current. If a subscription ends, plan-controlled features or listing capacity may change according to the current membership rules.

Changing plans

Open Plans to review available options. Before downgrading, compare your active listing count with the new allowance and archive or consolidate listings if necessary. Confirm the checkout summary before completing an upgrade or renewal.

After purchase

Return to your Account and verify that the current membership appears. Then create or update service listings. If the plan does not appear after a successful transaction, preserve the order confirmation and contact RTN support before purchasing again.

Beta note: Membership presentation and included features may evolve as RTN validates the marketplace. The checkout page and published plan terms control the purchase.
